Fantastic experience: I employed the services of Advanced Vetting to check a number of prospective employees. They were professional and thorough and I have no hesitation in recommending Advanced Vetting to potential clients.

Negative experience: I engaged this company to do a reference, identity and DBS check. They said in writing that they would complete these within 7 days. They promised to send the person they were referencing checking the forms to complete asap. More than a week later, this person had not received anything. When I complained more than a week later, they then sent me one form at a time with patchy details of what information was needed in a rushed and unprofessional way. I called the office to discuss what the problem was in a normal way and tried to talk to the manager who wouldn't listen to me at all, got aggressive and slammed the phone down on me. I then emailed to request a full refund. They only wanted to refund me a third, saying they had incurred time on admin. The had charged me a lot for the service so I was expecting a quality service delivered in a timely way. They had not even started doing anything. They had not even emailed / posted the person they were reference checking etc anything. I will be contacting the Trading Standards and the National Association of Professional Background Screeners about this company as the conduct of Advanced Vetting has not been professional at all. It's been shocking really. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
