It is not our custom, practice or policy to discuss specific details of any case in public forum. It is also not our intention to enter into a heated argument. That said - and to be quite clear - we will always take on board any legitimate criticism where it is justified and applicable. Sadly, that is not the case with this comment and, in this instance, a measured response is appropriate.

It should be known that the author's account of this case does not accurately reflect the truth of the investigation. There is no mention of the considerable time and effort we spent on the case - or mention of the briefest of client supplied details. It also does not highlight the significant personal information we did manage to obtain and which, in turn, was supplied by us to the author.

In summary, we are understandably disappointed that the author has felt it necessary to express their dissatisfaction through this medium rather than discuss their concerns directly with us. Had this course of action been taken, then this comment would never have arisen.
